We found our accommodation in Burlington on Air BnB – it is described as Blue Building with Neighborhood Character.
During a trip to see the Fall colours of Vermont in the USA, we decided to visit Burlington and made this booking the day before our visit – we were the first guests to stay in this accommodation.
We chose the property because of its location and value for money.
On arrival we collected our key by entering a code into a key box at the property. The apartment was on the first floor of a quaint timber building (painted blue) – there are steep stairs to climb to reach the apartment.
The apartment had four bedrooms (two queens, one double, one twin), a small bathroom (shower over bath), a long open plan living room/kitchen, a dining table and a couple of small lounge chairs. There are timber floors throughout and plenty of natural light.
The kitchen was very well equipped with crockery, cutlery, three fry pans and a saucepan and there is plenty of cupboard space. There was a large stove, microwave, large refrigerator, small dishwasher, coffee maker, tea and coffee.
The Air BnB had a rustic feel – we found it charming. There is plenty of free parking on the street.
At the time of our visit there was no WIFI however we believe the owner is organising that in the future.
We found a very good Vietnamese restaurant about 10 minutes walk from the apartment – M-Saigon, 370 Shelburne Rd, Burlington, telephone +1 802 865 8383. The food was delicious, authentic and very reasonably priced.
