We had just one night in Montreal and booked this apartment based on location and value for money.

We chose to stay in an apartment on Queen Street, Montreal, a short walk to Old Montreal.
To check in we had to phone LikeAHotel 45 minutes before arriving to get the code to enter the building. Once in the building we used a computer screen on the wall in the landing to contact LikeAHotel staff to talk us through getting into our apartment (another code for the key holder), show our ID, etc.
Our apartment was called Apartment Vintage and is located in an old industrial building, at the top of brightly painted yellow stairs. It is a light-filled, loft-style apartment that is open plan – living area, kitchen/dining area and two queen beds. The beds are separated from each other and from the living room by curtains. This open plan may not suit everyone but we loved the style and décor of the apartment.
The living area comprises a couple of sofas, coffee table and flat screen TV.
The kitchen is very well equipped with everything needed for self-catering.
There is a small bathroom with large, industrial-looking washing machine and dryer.
For air-conditioning there is a split system air-conditioner plus panel heaters around the walls.
Parking is on the street however there are metres. Overnight parking is free from around 10pm until 8am – be sure to check the signs.
In the evening we walked to the beautiful Old Town. We recommend taking a stroll at night to see the buildings lit up and the video projections on the streets and the walls. There are lots of shops and restaurants in this area.
For dinner we highly recommend Tokyo Shushi Bar at 185 Saint-Paul Oust Vieux Port.
We can recommend LikeAHotel when booking accommodation in Montreal – the properties are good value for money and our Apartment Vintage was well furnished, clean and comfortable.
